CRAZY ABOUT MANTHE!!

So Str.Crd happened last weekend and it was pretty awesome, but overall the highlight for me was the high honour of meeting Miss Manthe Ribane- Jozi's baddest and BEST bitch!! With her pitch blue lips and bowl cut, she is part of dance crew Vintage (who won a big comp at Str.Crd this year for moving their bodies like no one else could even attempt to, whilst looking stylish as fuck) and is the most humble, sweet and lovely girl in the room. Ok I am totally crushing but anyone who knows Manthe definitely knows why.

I am not usually the biggest Charlotte Free fan, I mean cool she has pink hair but let's calm down. However the fashion in this shoot was so fun and totally OBSESSED with her sunglasses.

Petite Noir- Pressure Video

Petite Noir is Cape Town based Yannick Ilunga's solo project which has blown up over the last few months, and for good reason. The music this 22-year old is making is not only hauntingly beautiful but possibly the most unique sound to have come out of this city/country ever.

Last week his new track,Pressure,dropped on Pitchfork and unsurprisingly the song and video are both brilliant. The video was shot by Ben Johnson (who shot our first ever fashion video, if you haven't seen it yet, check it out here). And once again his work is flawless.
