Something to be grateful for

In a war torn world (or at least continent) it is nice to see good news once in awhile. Today was one of those days carrying good news as the french assembly finally passed the bill allowing gay marriage and same sex adoption of children. It's still a long way until it is fully legalised but this finally puts France on track to joining another dozen or so European countries who have legalised gay marriage. And at a 329 to 229 vote ratio for the bill, I' m finding the ever-so-liberal Francais a tad conservative nowadays. 

Either way let's celebrate

Drake won a Grammy for best album last night after which he co-released this video for "Started from the bottom". This shit gives me big booty envy.
 2013 looks like it's gona be a very Drake year.

Daniel vs Daniel by Ward

Daniel Bradley recently graduated from the Design Academy of Fashion (DAF) and made a pretty impressive final range which he shot using Daniel Malan as his model. The combination of Daniel and Daniel gives you very good fashion (this first shirt could be the best thing I've laid eyes on) on a really good looking man, add our secret lover Paul Ward as the photographer and you have the perfect shoot. Girls/boys ENJOY!

Africa Clarion

Maxime Thaysen is one of Cape Town's Next Big Ting's. She is an amazing girl with an eye like a demon and a work ethic to match. In other words, she kills! This is her latest offering- a super fun fashion film for Hunger TV. Here's what they had to say about the concept::

There are designers around the world incorporating African designs and prints into their garments, from designers in the UK to traditional African and South African designers. The concept was decided on by myself and a South African stylist; Chloe Andrea. We wanted to create a story full of African spirit and freedom, the same spirit that inspires Africa and its designers.

Puppy Club February 2013

Puppy club is one of the Cape Town designers who keeps producing amazing work time after time. The prints on these shirts are a dream.

Andie recently released a video showcasing shirts for men and women and it really got us. Showing the beauty that is Cape Town's city centre and playing with our hearstrings depiciting a love story using chantel von T (she is just one of those girls you would fall in love with). This video is honest and sweet. And the shirts SO DAMN GOOD.
