Chelsea Blakemore- Beatenberg

Beatenberg is the most loveable band in Cape Town composed of Ross Dorkin, Matthew Field and Robin Brink. Today, we-are-awesome released the video for their new single Chelsea Blakemore and it does not disappoint. The song's been doing well already but this video should make it. It screams Kope/Figgins in the best possible way, making the boys look slick as fuck.

Here are our favourite moments of the video

The initial awkward dance moves

Rob being sensual

Ross being distressed about mowing the lawn at night

There are

no

words!

When the dancing gets less awkward and more crazy

When we get up close and personal with Matt's armpit (and mole) in the background

Whatever this is, it's great.

And the final act of LOVE.

Here is the actual video. You'll love it

Untamed Youth: Gateway Drugs

Oh look it's Tuesday again and the week-end already feels so far away that the fact that you got drunk Saturday is now a distant memory which crappy Monday overshadowed because all your stress is back and the urge to drink is once again overwhelming (it's not a problem till you're 30)

Thankfully there is something to do on a Tuesday so you're not sitting in Bob's/Kimberley getting picked up by alcoholics your father's age who seem appealing due to the lack of excitement and the petrol you're drinking

UNTAMED YOUTH: GATEWAY DRUGS

Gateway Drugs has quickly become one of those bands which truly don't need an introduction but just in case you haven't heard of them (which you really should have, even 5FM has caught on) here are some of their songs

I'm gona stop loving you

Pop song 3

You're probably really into them right now so you might as well donwload their album here

Now that you've heard it you probably wana see what these guys look like so do yourself a favour and watch this

HAVEN'T HAD ENOUGH YET?! LOOK AT THEM BEING ADORABLE

Cool you're convinced, so get out of bed and come to fiction to fall in love in da club or whatever it is people do these days.

There's also about 50 birthdays being celebrated tonight so chances are someone will think you're part of one of the parties and you'll drink for free.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs-Sacrilege

I'm not 16 anymore but I have to admit that Karen O's voice still does things to me.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs released a video for their new song "Sacrilege". Sex and revenge seem to be the trend.

Nothing will ever compare to this (still makes me feel like a hormonal mess and dying to start a rock band)

But this ain't half bad

ROCKING THE DAISIES x CHRISTIAN TIGER SCHOOL

Rocking The Daisies is happening on the 4th-7th October this year, and being daisy virgins we are really excited to attend for the first time and get to see one of our favourite teen-year nostalgia bands;  BLOC PARTY perform!!

But apart from Bloc Party we would love to see some other good bands/performers (after spending all that money and having to CAMP) and that is why us bitches are begging you to clink on the link below and comment that you would like to see CHRISTIAN TIGER SCHOOL perform!

This would literally be doing yourself a favour.

In case you haven't been in Cape Town lately or have been hibernating a little here are the two men behind the music:

And they sound like this:

And are sufficiently relevant to have collaborated and remixed a new track with the recently SUPER-famous, SUPER-band Bateleur (hope you all watched MK tonight and saw Nic's hair look "oh so good")

But enough about the hair, LISTEN TO THIS:
