LAST WEDNESDAY WE DJED AT ASSEMBLY FOR AN HOUR AND IT WAS AMAZING. LIFE-CHANGING! WE CHANGED OUR LIVES AND THE LIVES OF MANY OTHERS. WE FLIPPED ASSEMBLY ON ITS HEAD. THINGS WILL NEVER QUITE BE THE SAME AGAIN.

The Fashion Movie Project

This Monday we attended The Fashion Movie Project at the Waiting Room hosted by between 10and5, the Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion Design and Frankly my Deary which showcased some fashion movies made by local photographers and using students from the academy to style the film. Each photographer created a completely different feel and the movies were all unique and beautiful/entertaining in their own way. Obviously the 2BOP film made by Max Mogale won because they are the kings and their concept was hilarious! The night then obviously turned into a party where one too many shots of caramel vodka were had and the rest is blurry.

Last week we attended a new Ladies Only night in Cape Town, at Scar's barber shop called Barnet Fair. It was a very fun night, and the first of many to come! Mr Paul Ward was one of the only men allowed, besides for Lucio (who doesn't count). There was free booze, free cupcakes, free piercings and leg shaves, all the Scar stylists dressed up like crazy, and even a burlesque dancer (who took her clothes off!)

Monkey Business- Paul Ward x Fani x Eve Rakow

Paul Ward and Fani got together recently to shoot the enigmatic, crazy and gorgeous Eve Rakow of The Frown. We took her to World of Birds and went a little mad, talking to the parrots and scaring the families.
